CERTIFIED COLD CHAIN is a complex, integrated, preservation system that involves hydration since postharvest and cold room storage, followed by a vacuum cooling process, protection, safeguarding and assurance during transport, until delivery of flowers to their destination.
Ground transfers using Refrigerated trucks from MDE to BOG
There are two main reasons to use our ground transfers for crops from/to Bogota (BOG: roses, carnations, alstroemerias, etc) and/or Antioquia (MDE: chrysantemums, hydrangeas,etc).
When making or shipping a consolidated order out of MDE, where airfreight space is often short and cargo needs to go to the USA, Europe or any other destination, a transfer service is the way.
When assembling bouquets at either city or species of the other city are needed.
Both are best addressed when vacuum cooling is performed at origin and precooled cargo is loaded in our refrigerated trucks.
